Lake Home Valet: Professional Vacant Home-Watch Services
Lake Home Valet is a family-owned property-watch and care services company. We specialize in the care of, and service to, properties of absentee homeowners. Our services are designed for New York Finger Lakes and Southern Tier property owners who are away from their home for short or extended periods of time. Our service area includes Canandaigua, Keuka, Waneta, Lamoka, Seneca, and Western Cayuga lakes. We also provide these services to owners whose real estate is for sale and vacant because of relocation or other circumstance. Seasonal commercial property services are also available.
Janet Page, and her husband Bob Childs, together have over 20 years of lake-property ownership and management experience, and experience working in the real estate business, specifically with Finger Lakes properties. They are keenly aware of the unique features of lake properties and the systems that support them, as well as the needs of individual lake property owners.
Lake Home Valet services begin with a 100 Point Home and Personal Needs Survey, in order to thoroughly familiarize us with the details of your property, all systems and features. When we perform a scheduled home-watch visit to your property, or make an included post-storm visit, you can be assured that we know your property almost as well as you do. And yes, better than your neighbor!
Lake Home Valet offers mitigation services for problems or issues we discover on a visit. A Home Visit Report is sent after each home-watch visit, which may include a Problem Discovery Notification (if a problem is discovered). We work with either your service provider, or Lake Home Valet’s Preferred Providers, to fix the problem. At owner’s request, we can also represent your interests on-site through all repair work, to completion.
Our personal, professional, affordable services are available on a monthly subscription basis, no long-term contract required. Lake Home Valet offers three levels of service: Valet, Concierge, and Platinum Concierge with Personal-Service Options (including “Faux-Occupancy”) for your unique personal needs (click on “Our Services”). Neighborhood, group and pre-paid discounts are also available.
